Design and order your kit from our portal and three weeks later receive your ready-to-use library of up to 10,000 Design DNAs and all consumables and reagents ready to load onto the Onyx Instrument.

Onyx chemistry. Thousand of edits in a single tube.

In a traditional CRISPR experiment, one edit is performed per well and multiplexing is not an option — one gRNA and the corresponding homology arm are added per well to ensure that a cell will only receive one gRNA and donor DNA template. By linking the gRNA with the donor template, it’s now possible to multiplex up to 10,000 edits in a single tube.
One Design DNA per cell.

gRNA, donor DNA template and barcode are linked together in a single unique Design DNA. Each transformed cell receives only one Design DNA, generating one edit per cell.

One cartridge per experiment.

One ready-to-use cartridge contains up to 10,000 Design DNA, enabling massively parallel cell library generation in a single Onyx engineering run.

One tube. Thousands of Onyx edits.

The Onyx cell library obtained at the end of the run contains millions of cells with thousands of complete and intended edits.

Onyx chemistry. Innovative mechanism.

The Design DNA contains not only the gRNA-Donor DNA-Barcode but also all other components required to perform the editing in vivo such as the MAD7 and the repair proteins. Inscripta’s proprietary high-efficiency editing process is entirely controlled by the Onyx Instrument with almost no human intervention.
